Osceola, Wisconsin - Family Friendly Workplaces announced on May 15th that Core Products has been certified as a Family Friendly Workplace. This certification recognizes Core Products’ commitment to their employees and their families. 

"Certification as a family-friendly workplace was a no-brainer for Core Products," said Deb Steigauf, Core Products' Operations Manager. "We were excited about the program as soon as we heard about it. We prioritize the people that work for us, and consider them to be our most important resource."

To be certified, Family Friendly Workplaces conducted a thorough review of Core Products’ human resources policies and practices, awarding points in their matrix for policies and practices which support families and children. As a certified employer, Core Products can use the Family Friendly Workplaces logo in their marketing and recruitment efforts, as well as access a wide-range of additional resources.

"Welcoming Core Products to the family is truly exciting," said Neil Kline, Executive Director of Family Friendly Workplaces. "Their certification signals to their employees and the larger community Core Products’ values and commitment to their employees."

As part of their certification, Core Products committed to annually contributing to a nonprofit that supports families. This year, they routed their donation to The Open Cupboard food shelf in Osceola.

Western and northwestern Wisconsin face a long-term human resources challenge which demands a strategic approach to address. The Family Friendly Workplaces Certification Program is designed to help employers compete for talent today, while also strategically addressing this long-term problem.
