Polk County Achieves Gold-Level Family Friendly Workplace Certification
Polk County, Wisconsin – Family Friendly Workplaces (FFW) is excited to announce that Polk County has earned a gold-level certification as a Family Friendly Workplace, recognizing the county's dedication to supporting its employees and their families.
“Polk County is dedicated to fostering an environment where our employees can thrive both in their careers and personal lives,” said Moe Norby, County Administrator. “Receiving gold-level recognition as a Family Friendly Workplace reflects our continued focus on supporting the well-being of our staff and their families.”
To achieve this certification, Polk County underwent a thorough review of its policies, focusing on areas such as healthcare benefits, paid time off, flexible scheduling, and support for childcare and early childhood education. This process highlights the county’s dedication to fostering a healthy work-life balance for its employees.
