Schaffer Manufacturing has been Recertified as a Family Friendly Workplace

Milltown, Wisconsin – Family Friendly Workplaces is proud to announce that Schaffer Manufacturing has been recertified as a Gold-Level Family Friendly Workplace. This recognition highlights their ongoing commitment to creating a workplace where employees can effectively balance their personal and professional responsibilities.

“Supporting the health and well-being of our employees and their families is central to who we are at Schaffer Manufacturing,” said Steven Schaffer, Owner & Chairman of Schaffer Manufacturing. “This recertification as a Family Friendly Workplace affirms the culture we’ve worked hard to build—one rooted in compassion, flexibility, and community.”

As part of this commitment, Schaffer Manufacturing continues to give back to the local community. This year, the organization made a generous donation to the Mental Health Task Force of Polk County, helping local families access essential resources and reinforcing Schaffer’s mission to promote community wellness.

Schaffer has also become a leader in the state with its efforts to support the child care needs of its employees and the larger community. The Grover Childcare Center in Milltown is on the leading-edge of employer-connected child care, and serves as an inspiration to other employers and communities across Wisconsin.

Neil Kline, Executive Director of Family Friendly Workplaces, commended Schaffer Manufacturing’s continued leadership: “We’re proud to recognize Schaffer Manufacturing again this year. Their commitment to family-friendly workplace practices and support for local nonprofits sets a powerful example for employers across the region and the state.”

The recertification process includes a comprehensive review of policies and programs that support work-life balance and family well-being. With this designation, Schaffer Manufacturing proudly continues as a leading member of a growing network of certified Family Friendly Workplaces, reinforcing its role as an employer of choice in Western Wisconsin.
